tonight’s music

Very strange.  I forgot about the draft below, and wanted to say something about the music and the stories and ended up writing almost exactly the same thing again.  Weird.  Lost Patrol, huh?  Probably a dash of DeVotchKa in McStep’s story too.

I listented to Out of Time for years while Forty Jones was cooking.  And Forty is done, let’s be honest, at least thru phase 1.

McStep’s story has Frank Black’s raw jangly stuff, Christmass, running behind it.  We’ve got plenty more days and hours with Frank before the western is through.

But Mick Hicks has been lurking out at the edge for 8 or 10 years now too.  His story’s illustrated by Animal Collective and The Lost Patrol.

Anyhow.  Tonight it’s whatever’s playing there on the right.
