Got a gizmo now. Had one 5 years ago — was a silvery and boxy Kyocera from a nightmarket near Taipei, then was a silvery and boxy Kyocera from a mall in Clovis, New Mexico. Sprint did the running for us. Ended poorly with them (geography kinked up their bureaucracy or sommick).
But now got a gizmo, Virgin pay/go. Sleek. Looks like a lady spy’s lipstick case. It can do that ‘web’, can do them ‘txts’, can ring and call and buzz, and I’ve even got a Steve Earle ringtone in there somewhere.
This is what I like — waiting a while so’s I get surprised by common things. A phone. Wow. In my hip pocket.
